Local author Suzie Wilde and Tim O'Kelly of One Tree Books immerse you in a monthly indulgence of literature, storytelling and the world of books.

We are joined this month by Lucy Foley and Kate Lord Brown.  Lucy was doing an event at One Tree Books and Suzie manged to get a short interview with her.  Kate Lord Brown has recently published her book The Silver Thread and Suzie discusses this with her.

Laura and Julie bring the Shine Radio microphones to Penns Place for the annual 6 a side football tournament.

It's one of the biggest and best established of its kind with hundreds of teams competing.

Hear about its 45 year history and what goes on behind the scenes to ensure the young teams enjoy a worthwhile and healthy day out.

You'll hear football chairman Nick Orr, the tournament secretary Richard Bicknell, referee Paul Barrett and some of the young players. Plus tournament organiser Kieran Earl and Jimmy flips some burgers.
